i officially moved up to tax today - after the requisite couple of hours sitting at reception - and i am officially staying there at least until october 15, because that's the end of their busy season. one of my cousins is in town with her husband and youngest kid, so my sister and i met them for dinner last night, plus another cousin and my uncle. this particular uncle has been a dick to my mom - his baby sister - and neither my sister nor i like him or want to spend time with him, so the fact he was joining us for dinner was a big bummer.
